It's much lighter, almost like an aqua or robin's egg blue, definitely a little green in it. The leaves that look black in the pics are actually a muted grey. However, I absolutely love the colors and the design, even more than the pic. So I guess you get what you pay for. I was on a tight budget so this works great for me! I would recommend it to anyone.
